SR7's Policy & Warranty Information

Warranty is dependent upon the application, use, and product purchased. This warranty covers the original purchaser only. During the warranty period, SR7 Performance Products agress to repair or replace at its discretion any SR7 Performance Product that has been determined by SR7 Performance Products to be defective. Our Warranty DOES NOT COVER the following:

  1. Normal wear and tear.
  2. Cost of vehicle downtime.
  3. Damage to related components.
  4. Removal and / or replacement costs.
  5. Transmissions cost and shipping cost.
  6. Failure of product due to improper installation, maintenance, or modifications.
  7. Loss or injury arising directly or indirectly from installation or use of SR7 Performance Products.
  8. Melted shifter cables.
  9. Transmissions & high stall converters damaged by overheating.
  10. Ring gear on flywheels/flexplates will not be covered against starter wear.
  11. Improper break-in procedures ( 500-1000 miles MUST be put on before dyno runs on all overdrives )
  12. Modifications to computer controlled transmissions (line pressure, shift points etc) without SR7's input/consult.

Conditions
Rebuilding of transmission will be limited to replacement of friction materials, gaskets and seals. Parts damaged as a result of improper cooling, low fluid levels, misuse or abuse will be charged to the customer. Electric devices that control transmissions that are defective, disconnected, or improperly installed will not be covered. Unauthorized repairs will void warranty coverage.

Return Procedure
You must first obtain return authorization from SR7. Any returned transmission must be shipped prepaid to SR7. We will inspect the unit and notify you of our findings. If the problem is not covered under warranty we will contact you with an estimate to repair the unit. Any unit not authorized for repair within 60 days can be scrapped, with no credit given, or charged storage fees by SR7. If the unit is covered under warranty, we will repair it, and return it prepaid. If the unit is not covered it will be returned at your expense.

Core Policy
When ordering certain transmissions a core charge will be added to your bill. This core charge will be refunded when we receive your exchange transmission. The exchange transmission must be complete and in rebuildable condition. A full core charge refund will be made for an exchange transmission free of damaged hard parts such as case, extension housing, etc. A partial or no core charge refund will be made for a damaged exchange transmission. The exchange transmission must be the same make, model and year as the purchased transmission. If we do not receive your core exchange within a period of 30 days, no refund will be made.

Implied Warranty
Warranties implied by law are limited to the duration of this warranty excerpt in those states where prohibited by law. If a product proves to be defective under the conditions stated above, the customer is to return the product with a copy of the sales receipt to the place of purchase. All merchandise must be insured and shipped "freight" prepaid when returned to SR7 Performance Products.

When Ordering:

All Custom built Transmissions and Converters are prepaid.

No refunds for compleated jobs, only in-house credit is given.
